AIW Mission

  • To facilitate social interaction between women from the USA and other countries
  • To provide a support group for women as they arrive in Indiana from outside the USA or from another state
  • To promote and encourage cultural understanding between members and the communities in which they reside.


AIW History
  • Founded in 1992, the Association of International Women, Inc., represents nearly 50 countries worldwide.
  • Based in Indianapolis, members meet bimonthly at luncheons for business meetings, and to hear interesting speakers or other programs.
  • Diverse groups meet at members' homes, restaurants, parks and other locations to pursue their common interests.


AIW Membership


Membership is open to all individuals from any nation who are interested in:
  • Celebrating cultural diversity
  • Developing international fellowship
  • Sharing their heritage

Members, who are both long and short-term residents of Indiana, have cultural ties to other countries and/or an interest in international travel. They include students, professional people, and individuals who work in the home.
